(The OpChorus didn't work that well.) To do it properly, I would have to record each voice out of HA/VS and set each voice to its own plugin etc. I did a quick file of "Crossing" (VS version) in Studio Vision using the OpPlate plugin. This would have to be detected, or otherwise the substitution would sing in the wrong octave.

But my own RS voices are set to sing as-written. There is one potential difficulty: Some VS voices, such as the default males, are pre-set to sing one octave down.

Is there a way to save the RS settings only (not the voice database) - so that if the correct RSV file is installed, it will automatically use it? If not, the user would be prompted to either (a) install the correct (named) voice, or (b) choose a different RSV, if installed, or (c) default to VS. This brings up an issue: Currently, when using RS, the MYR file save the embedded voice database. Besides, as Eddy noted, the file size gets very large when RS is embedded. It does help if you use very different RS voices, but there are not a large number of them available.

It does not help much, if you duplicate the vocal tracks and assign them to variations on the VS voice. The problem of making a group sound has been raised on this forum from time to time. and, as Olivier mentioned some time ago, Real Singer processes each phoneme recording to produce a single "average" phoneme, if a group of singers is recorded. « Last Edit: Jul 19 th, 2005, 2:20pm by Olivier Guillion »

Just a few things that stood out from the first listen. I'm not sure if the vocal track is even the same BPM as the instrumental, as the vocal delivery seems too fast here. (1:20 onwards) The vocals really begin to clash with the music here, but this is likely a sync problem, as the vocals start a little too early and stumble over the instrumental. (0:19-0:32) The piano kind of takes away from the ALT vocal I suggest removing that entirely from this section but I'm not sure if this will improve it, try going for a balance between instruments and the vocal here. The balance between music and vocals needs addressing here: So, I FINALLY got a chance to use VocalWriter for something big~! Me and my buddy SZ64saulius collaborated on " Sweet Candy Party", an original happy hardcore track featuring the real voice of Alt! I wrote the lyrics and did the VocalWriter vocals, while SZ64saulius did the rest of the song.
